
Claire Lingard
Reach4Speech was founded by Claire Lingard, Speech and Language Therapist.
Claire graduated from Manchester University in 1999 with a clinical distinction in Speech Pathology (BSc Hons). Since this time, Claire has worked in the NHS in a variety of clinical and educational settings.
Claire has developed a specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Disorders. She continues to work part-time as a Highly Specialist Therapist within the NHS, alongside her independent work.

Claire Says:
"I am a mum to 4 young boys. I fully appreciate a parent's desire to do all they can to help their child to reach his or her full potential. Within my work with familiies, I strive to enable parents to understand their child's strengths and difficulties. I aim to support children to become happy and confident communicators."

Experience
Claire has experience in a range of speech and language difficulties, including:
- Language Delay (late first words, late joining words together, delayed use of grammar, delayed understanding)
- Delayed speech sounds
- Disordered language / Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) (affecting understanding and/or use of language)
- Speech Sound Disorders
- Verbal Dyspraxia

Claire is professionally registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
